FAQs

How long should I rest my coffee?

We find our coffees are best brewed 5-14 days post-roast when the flavours has opened up, offering more clarity to your cup.

Though coffee is a non-perishable product that is safe to consume for a year, we believe the optimal period to consume our coffee is from 1 week to within 3 weeks of roast date for you to enjoy them at their peak.

How long will it take for my order to reach me?

We use SF Express for all standard deliveries and while we cannot guarantee next day delivery, we find the service highly reliable with no more than a five business days wait.

Do you have roasted coffee in stock?
We roast all our coffee to order, by hand and in small batches. Which means that we do not stock on roasted coffee. We strongly believe that coffee best express themselves when freshly roasted.

Why do you only sell whole beans and not ground?
The importance of grinding fresh is emphasized by the volatile nature of the aromatic gases trapped inside the coffee beans. Once ground, these aromatic gases escapes and coffee very quickly loses flavour.

While it’s critical to grind fresh, grind size - that varies between brew methods, is equally important in how your coffee extracts and tastes. To ensure you get the most out of our coffee with your preferred brew method, we only ship whole beans.

How do you roast your coffee?
Our roast style is heavily influenced by the Scandinavian light roast. We believe roasting light allow us to preserve and showcase the natural flavours of each unique coffee we import.

Depending on origin, processing, varietal and roast degree, you will experience different levels of acidity. Our espresso roast are developed further to bring you slightly more body and sweetness to enjoy on an espresso machine, whereas our filter roast brings out more delicate nuances which is best experienced hand brewed.
